#100HappyDays Continued – Days 279 – 285

Another week of photos for your viewing pleasure.

I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed each moment.

Day 279 – April 11, 2015: First thing this morning Mr. MPB made a few tweaks to both of our road bikes. Once he was done we hit the trails for a wonderful morning ride.

Day 280 – April 12, 2015: We took our wonderful dog for a walk this morning in the beautiful sunshine. I dressed for warm summer sunshine only to discover once we arrived at the parking lot by the river that the wind was atrocious. I froze. But even while freezing, I enjoyed watching this little red balloon race across the sky.

Day 281 – April 13, 2015: These tiny little leaves made my day when I noticed them on a small tree in our yard. I am so excited that spring really is arriving!!

Day 282 – April 14, 2015: After doing massive amounts of house and yard work on the weekend, I have been extremely sore. And so, I was a very bad influence on Mr. MPB today as I attempted to convince him to skip our evening workout in favour of going out for sushi. In the end my lazy guilty pleasure won. And they even gave us free desert (coconut and orange Jell-O)  which was actually more fun to photograph then it was to eat.  I was so happy!

Day 283 – April 15, 2015: Today we upped our lower-body weights, which always makes me feel wonderfully great as it’s nice to know I am getting stronger every day.  Also, while working out we always have a movie playing in the background. Today we finished Happy Gilmore and started The Waterboy. I LOVE old Adam Sandler movies! Seriously, how can I not laugh at Adam Sandler fighting Bob Barker while playing golf?  Higher weights and Adam Sandler ensured that I really enjoyed our workout today!

Day 284 – April 16, 2015: We tried a new recipe tonight and the meal sure was!! We were inspired by Chief Michael Smith’s Italian-style meatloaf with sun-dried tomatoes, black olives, oregano, and parmesan. It may have been the best meatloaf that we have ever eaten.

Day 285 – April 17, 2015: Friday evening at 5:22pm = Margarita Time!

    • I’m glad you guys watch it too – it’s the perfect golf movie. That said, I loved the movie before I learned to golf (okay, I’m still learning, but that’s besides the point). 🙂

  1. Can I just say how awesome you two sound as a couple? Do you by any chance sit on the same side of the booth at restaurants? I can just picture you doing that :)… And secondly… “Heeeeey! Waterbooooy!” Adam Sandler movies are the best. My favourite is Billy Madison when he’s doing the final competition at the end and the principal says “If there is any attempt for either contestant to cheat, especially with my wife, who is a dirty, dirty, tramp, I am just gonna snap.” hahahaha. I think that’s my favourite line of any movie. Happy Sunday! xx

    • Awe, thanks! We do like to have fun together. But, I don’t think we’ve ever sat on the same side of a booth together. Although, I am totally going to try sitting next to him next time we sit in a booth at a restaurant. I suspect it will result in a good laugh. 🙂
I love Billy Madison too!! And the Wedding Singer. Both of those will be watched during future workouts. Happy Sunday to you as well! 🙂
