Today is May 4. Today is the 1^st birthday of my former best friend’s son. I wrote all about her in a past post – You Chose You. I Chose Me. So I’m not going to re-hash how our friendship ended.

But, what I to take a quick moment to say happy birthday little guy! I always thought I’d be part of your life and be there to celebrate these milestones with you and your parents. I’ve learned that life doesn’t always work out that way one might expect, but I hope you’ve had a great first year, a great birthday day and a great year to come!
