#100HappyDays Continued – Days 349 – 355
With less then two weeks remaining, I hope you enjoy one of the last weeks of photos. I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed each moment.
Day 349 – June 20, 2015: Mr. MPB did the sweetest thing today – because I had a tough week he planned a happy moment for us to share. His idea of fun is behind the scenes at the zoo, feeding Giraffes! We had a blast!
Day 350 – June 21, 2015: Today we celebrated the first day of summer with an 8km hike to high elevation Mountain Lake, Rawson Lake. It was a new hike for us, and we really enjoyed it, especially the view at the top!
Day 351 – June 22, 2015: After a long day at work, we started unpacking our basement this evening. Needless to say I was pretty darn happy when we remembered to stop and order Chinese food at 9pm!
Day 352 – June 23, 2015: Tonight we went fly fishing in search of a rainbow trout or two. One of Mr. MPB’s favourite things to do during the summer. The weather was amazing and we had a great time as Mr. MPB paddled and I sang Row Row Row Your Boat and Here Fishy Fishy. I always make sure we have fun!
Day 353 – June 24, 2015: Mr. MPB made some double chocolate ice cream tonight, and I licked the whisk clean! Just like a little kid, licking the whisk always makes me happy!!
Day 354 – June 25, 2015: Tonight we made a happy moment based on the desire to take a certain photo – the moon at night with our new 150-500m lens. Mr. MPB used all kinds of fancy manual modes and I just clicked the photo. We had fun sitting outside in the dark playing with the camera.
Day 355 – June 26, 2015: Today I helped Mr. MPB with some work out of town. It was a long day, but he humored me when I asked to stop and take this photo. We found a great park and even watched a para-glider at one point. We both enjoyed the moment.
Wishing everyone splendid happy moments!

As always, love the pics! I had no idea you could do that at the zoo?!

We had no idea either!! It was so much fun! You could chose from all kinds of animals, some book up quicker then others and some are super expensive. Apparently Giraffes don’t book up quickly and are relatively cheap. It was a wonderful day! 🙂

i’m watching CBS Sunday Morning and they are highlighting the fireflies in Tennessee. the photographs are stunning. as a fellow amature photographer, i instantly thought it was something you’d love to see and capture 🙂 sad to hear that the “happy days” are ending soon.

I wish we had fireflies here!! I remember seeing them as a kid at my aunt and uncles, I thought they were so neat! I’m sure I’d have a blast trying to get a good photo of them 🙂

Thanks Sondra! The whisk is always the best part! I didn’t even eat any of the real ice cream, just the whisk. 🙂

Celebrating the happy things is a great thing to do. My MPB is awesome for giving you that gift! That must have been amazing. I’m getting hungry looking at the Chinese food, it reminds me of crispy chilli beef and now I’m wanting.

You need to buy for your one day baby box Giraffes Can’t Dance by Giles Andreae. We borrowed it from the library and love it. It is a gorgeous book!!!
