#100HappyDays Continued – Days 321 – 327

This week was a bit busy, but it was also exceptionally fun and happy. I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed each moment.

Day 321 – May 23, 2015: A very happy stop on the Rocky Mountain Legacy Trail from Canmore to Banff. 40.14km in 1 hour and 36 minutes.

Day 322 – May 24, 2015: We went out for a walk specifically looking for a beaver. We easily saw his lodge but had no luck spotting the actual beaver. But this mother duck and her ducklings put a smile on my face!

Day 323 – May 25, 2015: Movie night! Mr. MPB’s chose Mad Max: Fury Road.  I’m a romantic comedy kind of girl, but surprisingly I actually enjoyed Mad Max.

Day 324 – May 26, 2015: Tonight we went sunglasses shopping. While I feel really guilty about splurging as my lenses are very expensive, but I am really excited for my new prescription sunglasses and everyday glasses which should arrive in about two weeks.

Day 325 – May 27, 2015: Golf with Mr. MPB and a friend. It was a beautiful evening to spend outside whacking and chasing a little white ball around.

Day 326 – May 28, 2015: It was a busy day, and we made it a happy evening with a quick stop at the local liquor store.

Day 327 – May 29, 2015: I am a firm believer that sometimes people come into your life when you need them the most. Tonight, we were fortunate enough to spend the evening with such a friend and her lovely family. Our evening included horses, great pizza, a beer or two, and wonderful conversation – it was a very happy evening for both Mr. MPB and I and hopefully our friends too.

      • I’m so glad you feel this way! I didn’t want to look like I was an idea thief! LOL. I am seriously considering doing this! I just need a better camera. Or a new phone with a better camera. My I-phone 4S is pretty beat up. Do you use your phone or a camera?

      • I made myself a “rule” that all photos had to be on my Pentax K5 because I wanted to learn to use it better and we own a great camera that needs to be used more. I’m glad I did it, but dragging that thing around with me has been a giant pain in the butt!! I think 99% of people use their phones because 99% of people always have their phones with them and you can easily upload onto IG that way too. Really, I think a phone is just more convenient. Whatever you do, I’m excited!

      • I love that you used an old fashioned camera for your pictures! I hate to even call it that, because I am sure it is modern as can be, but I think you know what I mean by this. I agree-most use their phones because it is so easy, but I just might challenge myself to lug around a new camera like you did. We will see! 🙂

  1. I love all of these! We have a lot of baby Canadian geese around these parts lately, haven’t seen many ducks though. I’d really like to see that movie, too, since I liked the original one. And that horse is beautiful!

      • They hatched so late here! Usually we have them late April, but they’ve just started popping up in the last week or so. Not sure why, our winter wasn’t terribly long or anything. But you should probably see them soon!

  2. J is a golfer and would love for me to learn how, but the few times I’ve tried, my boobs totally get in the way, lol. I apparently have terrible eye hand coordination also. 🙂

  3. Love that fish eye lens shot! I want new glasses, I totally get your excitement over that. Finally, that is an amazing photo of SM, thank you for sharing that. We have been waiting to ask an artist friend to paint or do a b/w illustration of him because he is so handsome (and a hambone sometimes as he was for you evidently!).

  5. Oh this post makes me really miss my bike. And Canmore. It’s one of my top three favorite places in Canada. Love the post this week 😊

  6. Your bike ride photo was stunning! What a beautiful place to live! I also liked your last comment about how people come into your life for different reasons. I just had a conversation with my husband about that last night.

    • Even though we don’t actually live where the bike photo was taken, it is nice that we can get there without too much trouble. 🙂
I suspect many people can relate to the comment of people coming into our life for different reasons, and I am glad you understand the notion and hopefully have also been touched by such amazing friends.

  7. I did 100 happy days but only did the first 100… It was difficult not to do 100 photos of my dog! Enjoying your collection! 🙂

    • We do have a fish eye lens! Mr. MPB got it as a gift years ago, and it’s one of the main reasons we would not switch brands of camera’s when we got a new body. Honestly, it’s such a fun lens! Not always practical, but definitely fun!

    • Thank you so much! I got to pick up my sunglasses yesterday and of course now it’s been raining for the last few days straight. All I want to do is wear them! 🙂
