#100HappyDays Continued – Days 265 – 271
Another week of photos for your viewing pleasure.
I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed each moment.
Day 265 – March 28, 2015: When we got home this evening, I spotted this guy in our front yard. The Robins are back, so it really must be spring!! And, as an added bonus, he let me get surprisingly close to take this photo before flying away.
Day 266 – March 29, 2015: Our quick, affordable and easy bathroom facelift is moving along. As the project has grown it is no longer quick, affordable or easy, but is starting to come together and the end is in sight! Today, the first coat of bright blue paint went on the walls. Such a happy bathroom colour!!
Day 267 – March 30, 2015: Much to Mr. MPB’s annoyance months ago when winter started I left these sandals on the deck and let them sit there for the duration of winter. As it’s now spring, I finally put them back on! They are not the pretties of sandals, but they are great for yard work.
Day 268 – March 31, 2015: This afternoon we took our road bikes off the indoor trainer and out of our home gym. We hit the open road for our first outdoor ride of the season, under the glorious sunshine. 17km later our muscles were exhausted but we were feeling great!!
Day 269 – April 1, 2015: I tried a new recipe tonight for roast chicken. I added in some quinoa and steamed veggies for a complete meal. It was so yummy that it had to be my happiest moment of the day. We happily ate every last bite.
Day 270 – April 2, 2015: Tonight I made my first ever home-made Ramen. Gluten-free Ramen noodles with oven roasted chicken, soft boiled egg, fresh shiitake mushrooms, scallions and jalapenos. It was delicious!!
Day 271 – April 3, 2015: The Easter bunny stopped by our house this Good Friday. So, we ate him!
Wishing everyone splendid happy moments!

Thanks! I’m now trying to decide what colour of towels to put in the bathroom. I’m leaning towards grey, but am still undecided.

Ah, Spring! Love the robin shot. And our bathroom downstairs is that same shade of cheery blue! It’s like having a little shot of the beach every time you go in. Hilarious, hilarious bunny shot… 🙂 Where did you find gluten free Ramen noodles? Your food always looks amazingly delicious, I want to just climb into the picture and take a bite and a smell. Hooray for spring and actual outdoor bike rides! Snowing here today, so we’re still a little ways off from that. 😦 Thanks for sharing your happy moments.

What colour of towels do you have in your cheery bathroom? I’m undecided what colour to put in ours. 🙂 We did enjoy the easter bunny… And, I love that you get my slightly twisted sense of humor. Gluten free Ramen noodles came from Costco – I’ve never made home-made Ramen before, but it turned out so good that we are making it again tonight. And, it’s snowing here today too! I’m rather sad about and have decided to cope by hiding inside and pretending that it’s not there.

I love the robin – every time I see one they remind me of my son who died, so it was a lovely surprise to see that picture pop up first!

I’m sorry I never put up a recipe for ramen. Truth be told, I don’t really have a recipe, I just have a couple of broth recipes up my sleeve that I use. Looks like you did a great job anyway!

Mr. MPB stumbled across one online somewhere so I just tried it. And I’m thrilled to say it worked out perfectly when I cooked it, and it was not so great (i.e. really bad) when he cooked it. 🙂
