Candy Cane Martini – Yummy!
Candy Cane Martinis have been consumed in our house for the last few Christmas seasons. We have searched all corners of the internet looking for the best recipe, and have a favourite. So today I thought I’d share it.
Note that I cannot take credit for it, we found it somewhere on the internet. But unfortunately we have no idea where, so I cannot provide the original source.
For 2 Martini’s mix with ice in a Cocktail Shaker:
- 5 oz Vanilla Vodka
- 2 oz White Crème De Menthe
- ½ oz Peppermint Schnapps
A few tasty tricks:
- Add a drop or two of food coloring to create your favourite Christmas colour.
- Add a tasty Christmassy garnish. I’m a big fan of coloured sugar or crushed candy cane on the rim of the glass, and mini candy canes too.
- Green Crème De Menthe works just as well as White Crème De Menthe. I prefer white only because it provides the opportunity to customize the colour.
